TEXTILE FIBERS FAQ
Answers to common questions from mills and garment makers.
What is the difference between virgin and recycled PSF?
Virgin polyester staple fiber is made from new polyester. Recycled PSF is made from recovered polyester, such as used bottles. Both are spun and blended in the same way; the right choice depends on your yarn and your customers’ requirements.
How do I choose the right denier and cut length?
Denier sets the fiber’s fineness and cut length sets how it runs on your machines. For cotton-system spinning, 1.2–1.4 denier at 38 mm is typical. Tell us your yarn count and end use and we will suggest a match.
Do you supply test certificates?
Yes. A test certificate comes with every shipment.
Can I get samples?
Yes, samples are available on request.
Where does your cotton come from?
Our cotton range includes United States upland and Pima cotton, and organic cotton. Other origins can be discussed on request.
Which yarn counts do you supply?
Single cotton and blended yarns from Ne 11s to 40s, plied yarns from 12/2 to 36/2, and polyester filament yarns (FDY and DTY). See the Yarn page.
Do you manufacture?
No. We source and supply. We do not operate manufacturing facilities, and we trade machinery rather than make it.
What are your payment and shipping terms?
Terms are discussed with each buyer. Please contact us.
